IT Officer

Key responsibilities

• Ensure daily IT operational standards are met across the company

• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, CCTV, servers)

• Perform automated backups (data, files, databases, operating systems)

• Maintain data and network security

• Provide helpdesk support for internal teams

• Conduct capacity planning for IT infrastructure

• Coordinate with vendors regarding IT needs

• Liaise with government institutions when required

• Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the company's information assets

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of company devices and IT equipment

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience (preferred)

• Advanced Linux administration (CentOS, RedHat, Ubuntu)

• Strong IT security knowledge, including Linux firewalls and Cisco ASA

• Routing & switching experience with Cisco, Mikrotik, and Fortinet

• Familiar with open-source tools, monitoring systems, hardware troubleshooting, and system backups

• Experienced in web & email server administration (Apache/Nginx) and virtualization/virtual machine management
