• • Higher formal education – associate, bachelor or master degree in a technical related field
  • Essential IT knowledge in diagnostics of systems, networks and security
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to express ideas effectively under pressure
  • Must work collaboratively with the various service teams remotely

  
  
  Provide engineering support for the blade and server Virtual Environment deployments. Support testing, review system maintenance, and other activities as required for the effort if keeping Conduent infrastructure intact. Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environment including vCenter, hypervisor on new hosts, virtual machines, datastore creation and maintenance in coordination with Plan and Build teams. Maintain virtualized architecture using vCenter and UCS Manager

  Provide Tier 2 support and administer multiple environments (e.g., production, testing, and development) on multiple devices on a global scale. Coordination/integration with specialists from other Conduent teams, including storage, network, server, backups and cloud infrastructures.

  Provide Tier 2/3 technical support regarding virtualization issues. Diagnose problems on ESXi hosts; troubleshoot technology issues, using various resources; document lessons learned and follow policies and procedures for changes and incident management. Document virtualization environments and keep documents updated per the company management policy.

  Provide Health and performance-optimization monitoring of virtualized architecture

  VMWare Certified Professional vSphere 5.x or higher– Desired but not required 2-5 years’ experience
  Working knowledge of Cisco UCS B & C-series servers 2-5 years’ experience
