About the role
📢 We are looking for IT talent specialized in operations, service management, and continuous improvement!
At Grupo PROEDUCA, a leader in online higher education, we are looking for an IT Operations Control Specialist to join the IT Operations Department, a strategic area that works to guarantee the quality, stability, and efficiency of the organization's technological services.
In this position, you will support the Department Director in the development of work related to cross-functional processes in the delivery of IT services, acting as support for them in daily activities related to the department's functions, and helping to lead projects launched within this scope.
What you'll do
Collaborate in the implementation and evolution of change and deployment management within the Technology field.
Collaboration in the implementation and evolution of the incident and crisis management model.
Collaborate in the implementation and evolution of a configuration management procedure, which includes, among others, the establishment of a corporate CMDB that ensures proper management of technology assets.
Collaborate in the implementation and evolution of a technical and functional monitoring system for the technological platform that ensures a complete view of its health and operational status.
Coordinate the 24x7 service operation/monitoring team
What we're looking for
Higher Technician degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent training related to information technologies.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in complex technological environments, participating in projects related to the implementation or evolution of IT service management processes.
Nice to have
Systems technical profile with experience in the production world, IT infrastructures, and in general, in the field of IT service delivery
ITIL certification, and having participated in the implementation of change management, incident management, and configuration management processes in complex organizations.
Experience in the implementation and evolution of service monitoring systems
