IT Operations Manager

Responsibilities

1. Manage the daily operation and support of business applications, including Bloomberg AIM, TOMS, MARS, Bloomberg Terminal, Wind, and head office systems, ensuring system availability, user access control, and issue resolution.

2. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure and network security devices, including servers, switches, and firewalls; coordinate with vendors on maintenance and support services to minimize operational risks.

3. Coordinate system renewals, upgrades, and enhancements; provide technical support and guidance to internal users on system-related matters.

4. Assist in IT budget planning and procurement activities, including requirement collection, vendor quotation evaluation, contract administration, and project implementation tracking.

5. Support regulatory, internal audit, and head office inspections by preparing IT-related documentation, operational records, and compliance evidence; assist in remediation and follow-up actions.

6. Ensure compliance with information security and technology governance requirements set by regulators and the Group, and undertake other IT-related assignments as required.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university;

2. Minimum 5 years of IT operations or technology support experience within a Chinese investment bank, securities firm, or commercial bank in Hong Kong.

3. Hands-on experience in supporting business applications, IT infrastructure, and vendor management.

4. Good written communication skills in both English and Chinese.

5. Familiarity with regulatory and information security requirements in the financial services industry.

6. Prior experience in IT development, system implementation, or technology project delivery is a plus.
