About the role
The IT Operations Manager will lead the management and optimisation of Tate's business systems and technology operations across the APAC region. Approximately 60% of the role is focused on ERP, business applications, reporting, and process improvement, with the remaining 40% centered on IT operations, infrastructure, service delivery, and end-user support.
Working closely with business leaders, global IT teams, and external partners, you will ensure technology solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging the gap between business processes and technology while leading operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities
Maintaining information systems performance and suitability by planning, monitoring, and coordinating business teams
Working with the local leadership team develop and maintain a 5-year strategy plan for the IS and IT environments
Ensuring all Systems and software are part of the service catalogue and meet the minimum requirements of the Divisional Processes and the Group IT Manual
Lead the planning, designing and delivery of technologies that meet the growing needs of a changing manufacturing business
Understand the business processes and ensure that the systems meet the needs of the business and ensuring availability and accuracy of ERP and BI reporting
Being a mentor and escalation point for System questions/solutions
Coordinating delivery of system training as requested by business teams
Managing systems projects ensuring they are delivered on time, in budget and processes are followed in compliance with the divisional IS and the Kingspan IT Manual project management and change policies
Supporting other projects/works and various parts of the business as required
Hold regular meetings with the Global Information team to report back challenges and opportunities being explored in the Tate APAC Business. This will involve a small amount of out of hours work
Understand and deploy divisional Information policies and procedures ensuring adherence to control measures specified in the Kingspan Group IT Manual
Manage and Report performance on IS Service Desk KPIs in line with the agreed SLA. And be a point of contact for Divisional IS and Group IT for changes to shared operational systems
Microsoft Business Central Dynamics 365, Microsoft Navision Business Central on Premise working with stakeholders process and standardisation

1 direct report – IT Administrator
Working With:
Finance, Customer Service, Sales, Design and Engineering, Operations and Projects team
Divisional IT team
System consultants e.g. Microchannel
Skills / Key Characteristics:
Demonstrate at least 5 years’ experience working for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing business
Good understanding manufacturing software tools, services and processes
Been a lead on large software projects
Be an agent for change in the business
Team management
Desirable skills:
Experience working with Microsoft Business Central Dynamics 365
Experience working with Microsoft Navision Business Central on Premise
Have ERP experience
Teamwork and Supervision:
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities
Attend meetings and training as required
Attend one on one catch up with you line manager on a regular basis
Actively participate in meetings
Actively participate in using workplace tools for collaboration
Qualifications / Education:
ITIL Foundation certification and / or Bachelor’s or master’s in information systems
Working Conditions:
Full-time, with occasional overtime during busy periods (e.g., year-end reporting)
