Job Summary

We are seeking an Open-minded and Hands-on IT & Operations Specialist to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our MVNO core operations, bridging business logic with IT technical execution. You will be responsible for SIM/Roaming business analysis, data reporting using SQL, routine operational support, and minor internal backend/web tool development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Telecom Operations & Carrier Support

• Handle day-to-day MVNO business operations, including SIM card provisioning, profile management, and roaming service configuration.

• Assist in monitoring system connectivity and technical interfaces between our core network/platforms and Hong Kong MNO partners.

• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues related to SIM activation, data roaming, speed capping, and network registration.

2. Data Reporting & Database Management

• Maintain MySQL databases and extract operational/sales data through efficient SQL queries.

• Generate and automate daily/monthly business reports covering SIM activation rates, data usage, revenue settlement, and roaming traffic analysis.

• Provide data insights to assist management in optimizing roaming packages and pricing logic.

3. Internal Systems & Web Development Support

• Maintain and make basic enhancements/updates to internal admin portals or operational dashboards.

• Assist in API integration and technical testing for new SIM product launches or partner connectivity.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in SQL and MySQL database operations (complex queries, data manipulation, basic schema design).

  • Knowledge of basic Web / Backend Development (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Python, or Node.js) is a strong plus.

• Domain Knowledge:

  • Prior experience or understanding of MVNO operations, SIM card lifecycle, or Roaming SIM business logic is highly preferred.

  • Experience working with telecom API integrations or billing systems is an advantage.

• Soft Skills & Attributes:

  • Open-minded mindset: Willingness to learn emerging technologies and adapt to dynamic business needs in the telecom sector.

  • Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

  • Good problem-solving ability and proactive team player.

  • Proficient in written and spoken Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a plus.
