IT Operations Support Engineer

You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-performance, low-latency infrastructure. You will support and tune RHEL systems, maintain highly available network environments, implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures, lead maintenance windows and upgrades, and improve automation and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support, tune, and optimize RHEL systems on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors.
• Maintain highly available routing and multicast environments using BGP, OSPF, PIM, and IGMP.
• Design and implement security controls and disaster recovery procedures.
• Lead maintenance windows and operational upgrades with internal teams, exchanges, and colocation providers.
• Improve configuration management, observability, and operational tooling using Ansible, Zabbix, and Python.

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Have experience supporting RHEL systems on bare-metal hardware and hypervisors.
• Have hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP, colocation, and on-premises switching and connectivity.
• Have experience in complex, mission-critical infrastructure environments.
