Summary
Entry-level-friendly data centre operations role in Kuala Lumpur: work 24/7 shifts monitoring the IDC environment, responding to incidents, and racking, cabling, and troubleshooting servers and network devices per SOPs and SLAs. Key Responsibilities
- Perform 24/7 shift operations in the IDC data centre.
- Monitor the data centre environment, respond to incidents, and complete work orders in accordance with SOPs and SLA requirements.
- Install, rack, cable, troubleshoot, and maintain servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections, identify potential risks, and support preventive and emergency maintenance.
- Assist with equipment deployment, hardware replacement, and other on-site operational tasks.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware, servers, networking, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in IT support, data centre operations, or infrastructure maintenance is an advantage.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
