IT Partner Manager
BAE Systems is transforming its IT Service Integration and Management (SIAM) capability to operate across a modern multi-partner environment.
As part of this transformation, the IT Partner Manager is a key role within the retained Digital Service Integrator (DSI), embedded within the Workplace service tower and focused on strengthening service outcomes by building effective relationships with strategic partners and ensuring services remain aligned with business priorities and user needs.
The role moves beyond traditional supplier management and transactional governance. Rather than managing commercial contracts, you’ll build trusted partnerships, manage partner obligations against agreed service outcomes, and foster collaborative behaviours that improve end-to-end service delivery across the SIAM environment.
Working as part of the DSI team, you’ll build strong relationships across strategic partners, using operational insight, user feedback, and governance engagement to understand how effectively services are being delivered. You’ll identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration, resolve cross-partner issues, improve partner delivery, and ensure partners collectively deliver the outcomes expected by the business.
Through trusted relationships, effective governance, and a focus on continual improvement, you’ll influence partner behaviours, strengthen accountability, and promote integrated ways of working that improve outcomes for users and the business.
Your main responsibilities as IT Partner Manager will involve\:
· Build trusted, outcome-focused relationships across strategic partners and internal service teams delivering Workplace services
· Strengthen alignment across partners delivering end-user computing, collaboration, productivity, mobility, and workplace technologies to support integrated service delivery
· Manage partner obligations against agreed service outcomes, promoting accountability and collaborative delivery across the partner landscape
· Coordinate the resolution of cross-partner and cross-service dependencies, service risks, and operational issues affecting user experience and business outcomes
· Use operational insight and user feedback to identify systemic issues, emerging risks, and opportunities to improve service performance, user experience, and partner collaboration
· Strengthen relationships that enable partners to work together effectively to deliver integrated service outcomes
· Influence governance discussions relating to partner performance, cross-service dependencies, operational effectiveness, user experience, and business outcomes
· Work alongside Procurement and IPS teams, providing operational and governance input where commercial support or contractual intervention is required
· Foster strong collaborative relationships across the wider DSI organisation to support integrated service management and continual improvement
Your skills and qualifications\:
· Experience building and managing relationships across complex partner environments
· Strong understanding of Workplace services, including end-user computing, collaboration technologies, productivity platforms, mobility, or digital workplace services
· Experience working within SIAM, IT Service Management, or complex multi-partner operating models influence across complex partner environments
· Ability to translate operational insight and user feedback into measurable service and business outcomes
· Experience identifying and managing cross-service dependencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
· Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, technical, and partner communities
· Ability to improve ways of working and promote collaborative, outcome-focused behaviours
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
· Understanding of ITIL service management principles and governance
· ITIL foundation certification or equivalent experience

The Team
Reporting to the IT Partner Engagement Lead, you’ll form part of BAE Systems’ transformed DSI capability.
Embedded within the Workplace service tower, you’ll work as part of the DSI team to strengthen partner relationships, improve collaboration, and drive integrated, outcome-focused service delivery across our multi-partner environment.
