IT Portfolio Manager
Tasks
- Maintain and coordinate the global IT project and program portfolio, ensuring transparency and data quality.
- Ensure alignment between incoming business demand and the active project portfolio in close collaboration with the Business Engagement team.
- Support the integration of approved business initiatives into the portfolio while considering priorities, dependencies, resource availability, and capacity constraints.
- Identify, assess, and manage portfolio-level dependencies, risks, delivery obstacles, and resource conflicts, including escalation where required.
- Operate and continuously improve the resource and capacity planning framework supporting portfolio delivery.
- Coordinate actions required to resolve resource constraints and capacity bottlenecks and prepare recommendations for management decisions.
- Monitor portfolio performance, project progress, expected deliveries, benefits, and risks.
- Support budget planning, forecasting, and financial portfolio control activities.
- Support portfolio, program, and project governance processes, management forums, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate portfolio and project quality assurance activities and ensure consistency and accuracy of portfolio and project data.
- Build strong relationships across business, functional, and IT organizations, including international stakeholders.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc executive reports, portfolio analyses, and decision-support materials.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies, KPIs, templates, reporting standards, and PPM processes.
Requirements
- University degree in IT, Engineering, Business, Management, or related field
- Business-fluent English
- 5+ years of experience in Portfolio Management, PMO, Project Management, Program Management, or similar roles
- Experience with PPM tools such as Jira, BigPicture, Clarity, MS Project
- Proven experience in managing complex IT project portfolios
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in resource and capacity planning
- Advanced reporting, data analysis, and presentation skills
- Proactive, ownership-driven, and results-oriented mindset
