Summary We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement officer to manage and optimise technology sourcing strategies for our London operations. This role will be responsible for driving value through strategic vendor management, contract negotiation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting the bank's digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Ø Ensure that products and services in the IT Category are sourced competitively and cost effectively and that policies are upheld Ø Develop a sourcing strategy and roadmap for the IT categories in conjunction with the business leads Ø Lead end-to-end IT procurement activities covering categories such as software, hardware, cloud services, IT services, data centres and networking Ø Negotiate contracts with technology vendors, ensuring optimal commercial terms with appropriate risk measures in place in adherence with the bank policy Ø Collaborate with IT, Legal, Risk, and Information Security teams on vendor due diligence and onboarding Ø Drive cost optimization initiatives and identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency gains Ø Identification and delivery of savings initiatives and in order to meet saving targets Ø Develop and implement IT sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and risk appetite Ø Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements (FCA, PRA, DORA, EBA), and group procurement standards Ø Accurately present large amounts of detailed financial data to diverse audiences Ø Attend regular governance meetings and committees as appropriate Ø Support CPO with inputs into various committee documentation Confidentiality Ø You may become aware of information of a confidential nature relating to the documents you work on. Ø Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
