IT Product Manager
Role Purpose:
The IT Product Manager is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving Warehouse Management System (WMS) capabilities to support DHL Supply Chain's operational excellence, customer commitments, and digital transformation roadmap.
The role acts as the bridge between Operations, IT, Customers, SD, OE and RO Partners to ensure WMS solutions deliver business value, operational efficiency, scalability, and innovation across multiple warehouses, customers, and countries.
The IT Product Manager owns the product vision, capability roadmap, solution governance, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with DHL's supply chain strategy.
What you will do:
Product Implementation Roadmap
Maintain the WMS product vision and roadmap.
Align product strategy with DHL Supply Chain business objectives.
Prioritize enhancements based on business value, risk, customer requirements, and operational impact.
Drive digital transformation initiatives involving WMS, automation, analytics, mobility, and cloud technologies.
Establish product governance and technology standards.
Business & Operational Excellence
Partner with Operations teams to understand business challenges and opportunities.
Lead business process reviews and warehouse transformation initiatives.
Design scalable TO-BE warehouse processes.
Ensure standardization and adoption of best practices across sites.
Balance operational requirements with technology capabilities and long-term maintainability.
Solution Architecture & Design
Translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs.
Review and approve solution blueprints, functional specifications, and integration designs.
Evaluate "Configure vs Customize vs Build" decisions.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
Support large-scale WMS implementations and strategic customer onboarding projects.
