IT Product Owner
Summary
Hybrid Product Owner/QA role: the person translates business requirements into product requirements, user stories, and a prioritized backlog, then develops test plans and runs functional, regression, integration, and API testing plus automated scripts (Katalon, Selenium, Playwright). Requires 2-4 years in product/ownership/QA/testing.
Salary: Rp 3.500.000 – Rp 4.500.000 per month
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog while coordinating with the Engineering team on feature planning and development.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure feature implementation aligns with business needs and objectives.
Develop test plans, test cases, and testing strategies to ensure application quality.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing, and validate features before release.
Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to improve testing efficiency.
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution in collaboration with engineers.
Monitor application quality, gather user feedback, and recommend continuous improvements.
Requirements
Minimum D3/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or IT application development.
Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, product backlog management, and application development processes.
Ability to analyze business requirements and prepare user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
Experience in functional, regression, integration, and API testing, including test plan and test case preparation.
Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Trello, Linear, or similar tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing the development of web applications, mobile applications, or internal business systems.
Understanding of APIs, databases, SQL, and system integration.
Familiarity with AI tools for requirements analysis, documentation, test case generation, or test automation.
Experience coordinating Product, Engineering, or QA teams.
