IT Product Owner
Summary
Product Owner at IT services company Noesis in Lisbon: analyzes business and functional requirements, writes specs and user stories, builds and prioritizes the product backlog, and communicates the product vision while working closely with an Agile development team (Scrum/Kanban, tools like Jira).
Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements, prepare functional documentation and requirements specifications, and develop supporting manuals (e.g., user manuals and process manuals).
- Create, maintain and communicate the product vision to stakeholders and the development team, ensuring alignment on product objectives and functionalities. Develop, manage and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, user feedback and technical feasibility. Write user stories and define clear and objective acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and product vision. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies to support the workflow.
Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Management Informatics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Product Owner or in similar roles.
- Ability to define the strategy and life cycle of a technological product.
- Experience in the use of user stories, use cases, workflows, wireframes and functional specifications.
- Professional experience in an Agile work environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience with product and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize product requirements.
- Customer-oriented mindset.
