IT PROGRAM MANAGER (NETWORK SERVICES)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the DISA CES Occupational Structure. Salary Ranges Lackland AFB, TX: Local salary ranges from $150,119 to $195,157 Cheyenne Mountain AFB, CO: Local salary ranges from $151,850 to $197,200

Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of programs assigned to the Branch and Division.

Studies organizational functions and processes to optimize mission accomplishment and resource utilization. Directs or recommends the reallocation of resources to effectively meet changing environments and priorities.

Provides conceptual and technical guidance and advice on complex technical and operational matters related to division functions.

Directs and oversees studies and analyses of operational changes that significantly influence division functions and operational support.

Leads joint committees of senior members from DISA and external organizations. Exercises authority to select group representation, establish memberships, and provide strategic direction to accomplish key organizational goals.

Executes operational and administrative functions, including establishing goals, evaluating performance, and implementing policy changes. Assesses resource needs and coordinates with DISA staff, subordinate centers, and external organizations.

Assesses network incidents and restores communications supporting Combatant Commanders, DoD, non-DoD agencies, and Joint Staff. Directs, develops, and implements standard processes to support the critical operations mission area.
