IT Program Manager (PLCYPLN)

This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/CYBER DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.

Implements centralized life cycle management, direction and guidance for acquisition, sustainment and implementation.

Develop acquisition strategies, program planning, technology infusion, milestone review preparation, requirements, allocation and configuration management.

Provides advanced technical support and guidance to staff in matters relating to information management issues that involve a range of IT management that typically extend and apply to an entire organization or major components of an organization.

Recommends methods of enhancing efficiency of information systems through modifications and applications of evolving technology.

Assists in the implementation of DOD and DISA-level guidance for major information system programs.
