IT PROGRAM MANAGER (PLCYPLN)
Summary
Manages IT programs for a U.S. Cyber Command support office, overseeing lifecycle management, procurement, and technical guidance for defense information systems.
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Security Enablers Program Management Office.
Implements centralized life cycle management, direction and guidance for acquisition, sustainment and implementation.
Provides enterprise-wide IT support and technical guidance across the entire organization.
Develops procurement specifications and evaluates contractor proposals with technical personnel for DISA information management systems.
Develop acquisition strategies, program planning, technology infusion, milestone review preparation, requirements, allocation and configuration management.
