IT Project Engineer

Salary: $3,200 – $4,500 per month

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on IT Project Engineer to manage and deliver infrastructure and system integration projects. This is a client-facing role involving project planning, deployment, and implementation across various IT environments.

You will gain exposure to real-world IT projects, including servers, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver IT projects from planning to deployment and handover

• Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Pre-Sales, Support) and external vendors

• Perform installation, configuration, and deployment of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, firewalls, cloud solutions)

• Conduct site readiness checks, testing, and system validation prior to implementation

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality standards

• Prepare and maintain project documentation and handover reports

• Provide post-project support and knowledge transfer to support teams

• Liaise directly with customers, provide updates, and manage expectations

Technical Exposure

• Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN)

• Servers & virtualization (Windows Server, Hyper-V / VMware)

• Microsoft 365 / cloud deployments

• Firewall and security solutions

• Backup and disaster recovery solutions

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

• 1–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure, system integration, or deployment

• Hands-on experience in networking, servers, or end-user environments

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers

Preferred (Advantage)

• Experience in system migration, office setup, or cloud deployment projects

• Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, VMware, etc.)

• Experience working in system integrator / MSP environment
