IT Project Leader
Job Summary
We seek an experienced IT Project Leader to oversee infrastructure architecture, system performance, and operational support across on-premise and cloud platforms, driving high-quality service delivery and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support and optimize infrastructure architecture, resource planning, and system performance for on-premise and cloud computing platforms.
- Lead development of application infrastructure reference architecture and system integration practices to enhance operational efficiency.
- Serve as primary contact for Infrastructure team on operational support and system-related issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving operating systems, databases, application services, and network configurations.
- Manage on-premise and cloud infrastructure services to support application environments, collaborating with application teams.
- Escalate unresolved technical issues to internal teams or external vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Record and report system incidents, documenting causes and resolutions for continuous improvement.
- Drive Architecture Review and Governance processes to maintain smooth and sustainable operations.
- Provide prompt, professional application support and assist users with configuration and setup, escalating complex issues appropriately.
- Document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system for transparency and accountability.
- Manage daily team operations, including task assignments, priority setting, and coordination to ensure effective support delivery.
- Evaluate team member performance and provide coaching to enhance skills and productivity.
- Monitor and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely resolution of support requests and incidents.
- Participate in infrastructure deployment projects, including installation, configuration, and testing of hardware, software, and network components.
- Act as liaison between IT support team and external vendors, including Oracle teams, to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling team shifts and resource allocation to optimize team performance.
- Organize and lead team meetings, including status updates, reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster collaboration.
- Prepare and deliver monthly reports and other requested documentation to customers and stakeholders.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Certification in relevant technologies such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator is a plus.
