About the Role
Our client, a leading enterprise organisation in the supply chain and logistics sector, is seeking a versatile and structured IT Project Manager to join their technology delivery team in Melbourne's North-West.
In this role, the successful candidate will drive a dynamic and varied pipeline of technology initiatives. Rather than being tied to a single platform, the Project Manager will own a multi-stream portfolio spanning SAP WMS/ERP ecosystems, enterprise software applications, and site IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Varied Project Portfolio: Lead concurrent end-to-end IT projects, ranging from software upgrades and system integration's to site network refreshes, from initiation to BAU handover.
SAP & Supply Chain Delivery: Direct projects involving SAP WMS / EWM / ERP platforms and logistics integration (TMS, OMS).
Applications & System Integration: Manage delivery for enterprise software, custom workflow tools, API/middleware integration's, and digital workplace tech (Single Sign-On, Identity Governance, Intune).
Infrastructure & Networks: Oversee site-level IT infrastructure projects across distribution centers and corporate sites, including SD-WAN/MPLS migrations, Wi-Fi coverage optimisation, datacenter moves, and hardware roll outs.
Governance & Delivery: Maintain project governance (steering committees, status reporting, risk/issue management) and strictly align with frameworks like Waterfall or Agile.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary interface between business leadership, operational warehouse teams, internal IT, and third-party vendors.
Candidate Requirements
- SAP WMS / ERP: Experience delivering projects within SAP supply chain or warehouse management environments.
- Software & Applications: Demonstrated experience with enterprise application rollouts, and system integration project lifecycles.
- Warehouse Infrastructure: Hands-on experience delivering physical site infrastructure (SD-WAN, Cisco/Meraki networks, endpoint security, datacenter migrations).
Key Soft Skills: Exceptional commercial acumen, vendor negotiation experience, and strong operational change management skills.
