IT Project Manager - Collateral Management Tribe

Your Team - GBS Funds Tribe:
Within GBS, you will join the Collateral Management Tribe. You will integrate a dynamic team working in a fast-changing environment.
Role: Epic Delivery Owner
Your role will involve managing a series of Epics (also known as projects). You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the initiatives you manage, which includes:
- Ensuring timely delivery of the Epic scope (divided into Features), within the committed budget and with the expected quality
- Integrating the different individual squad contributions (including cross-Tribe) into a globally consistent plan, in alignment with our Agile Operating Model
- Writing comprehensive Epic memos that enable the Business Sponsor and IT management to make informed decisions
- Providing regular status reports to Tribe Management and various partners.
To be successful, you will have to:
- Develop, manage and maintain Epic plans and forecasts, including resource requirements, costs, risks/issues and their mitigations as well as dependencies with other initiatives
- Manage virtual teams across various divisions and entities, including third party suppliers (near-shore & off-shore)
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with Product Owners and Scrum Masters of the contributing squads, as well as with our customers, providing advice, guidance and options regarding IT investments
- Define the Epic governance (the deliverables, processes, and ceremonies to apply), and supervise the progress, quality and effort of its execution
- Lead the risk, issue and change control processes for assigned Epics, build action plans to mitigate risks, resolve issues and track action items
- Control and monitor the progress of Epics, reporting to the Tribe Management and the Sponsorship Committee
- Manage the Epic in accordance with Euroclear’s internal standards (methodology & tools) and Euroclear’s Agile Operating model
Profile
- Relevant experience in a project management role
- Strong leadership skills to adapt your style according to the situation and the different stakeholders
- Good business and technical understanding
- Interpersonal skills to influence decisions taken with the Epic sponsor/client
- Excellent communication skills (listening, writing and presenting) at all levels, from staff members to senior management
- Ability to learn quickly in a complex environment and to synthesize the situation
- Strong negotiation skills, conflict management and influencing skills at different levels of management
- Effective delegation of tasks and responsibilities while maintaining overall control
- Assertiveness to drive tasks to completion
- Proficiency in English
Assets
- Experience with functional project delivery for cross-platform implementation
- Experience of costs, risks & resource planning & forecasting. Certification in PRINCE 2, PMI (or similar IT frameworks)
- Experience of working with outsourcing partners & offshoring
- Experience in working in an Agile context (Agile practice), Agile certified Practitioner
- Knowledge of settlement or collateral management domain.
- Distributed expertise alongside mainframe specialization
