IT Project Manager (Corporate Banking, Contract)
Job Summary
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT Project Manager versed in Corporate Banking domain to lead and deliver technology initiatives within the banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of corporate banking tech initiatives, digital channels, APIs, and cash management or payment modernization projects on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Bridge communication gaps between business sponsors, operations teams, and technical developers (DevOps, architects, engineers).
- Agile & Governance: Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, manage project backlogs, track key milestones, and maintain robust governance frameworks.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify project risks, resolve blockers, and ensure implementations comply with banking regulations, data security policies, and financial reporting rules.
- Resource & Financial Control: Manage project budgets, resource allocation, vendor contracts, and third-party vendor deliverables.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Min. 6 years of hands-on IT project management experience within banking, financial services, or fintech, with a focus on corporate banking products (e.g., cash management, trade finance, treasury, loans etc.)
- Solid grasp of banking payment systems, transaction lifecycles, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 20022, SWIFT).
- Familiarity with legacy system modernization, cloud migrations, and Java-based or microservices architectures.
- Certifications ie. PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP) are highly advantageous.
