Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven IT Project Manager to oversee and lead IT projects from initiation to completion. This role requires frequent travel to client sites, data centers, and company offices to ensure effective project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver successful IT initiatives. A current security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure project success.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Monitor and report on project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security protocols, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel frequently to project sites, vendor locations, and company offices as required.
- Drive continuous process improvements and contribute to the development of project management methodologies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.
