IT Project Manager E-commerce / International Projects
Summary
Leads full-lifecycle e-commerce projects for international clients — from requirements gathering and planning through launch and iteration — coordinating developers, QA, and designers while managing timelines, scope, budgets, and direct client communication. Requires 3+ years of IT PM experience, English B2+, and solid web development and store-integration knowledge.
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead e-commerce projects for international clients. You will manage projects from initial business discussions through to release, understand the technical aspects of development, and independently drive collaboration between clients and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of projects, from requirements gathering and planning to launch and ongoing improvements
- Work directly with international clients: lead meetings, clarify requirements, discuss priorities, and agree on changes
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable tasks with well-defined acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with the technical team to evaluate solutions, identify dependencies and constraints, and assess the impact of changes
- Manage timelines, scope, budgets, and team capacity
- Identify risks early, propose solutions, and communicate trade-offs clearly to clients
- Coordinate developers, QA engineers, and designers, ensuring visibility into project progress and the quality of deliverables
Requirements
- 3+ years of IT project management experience, including hands-on experience managing e-commerce projects
- A track record of independently managing projects for international clients and taking them through to release
- Extensive experience in direct client communication, from understanding business needs to negotiating timelines, scope, and changes
- Strong English skills: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or above: you can independently lead meetings, discuss technical and business topics, explain decisions, and communicate clearly in writing
- A thorough understanding of e-commerce functionality and workflows
- An understanding of how online stores integrate with external systems, including ERP, CRM, PIM, payment providers, and shipping services
- A solid understanding of web development fundamentals: frontend and backend, APIs and integrations, databases, development environments, testing, and release processes. You should be comfortable discussing solutions with developers and explaining their capabilities and limitations to clients
- Practical experience managing requirements, estimates, priorities, risks, and changes
- The ability to work through ambiguity: identify missing information, ask the right questions, and turn discussions into clear decisions and actionable next steps
Nice to Have
- Experience managing complex integrations, migrations, and the ongoing development of live online stores
- An understanding of how technical decisions affect conversion, performance, and store reliability
We offer
- Competitive salary based on your experience and skills
- Remote work
- Paid vacation and sick leave
- Opportunity to work on interesting international projects
- Friendly and supportive team environment
- Professional growth
- Comfortable onboarding process and team assistance
- Modern tools and well-established workflows
- Opportunity to influence processes
