IT Project Manager

This position is located in the Program Executive Director Front Office, Schedule and Risks within the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA), Electronic Health Records Modernization Integration Office EHRM-IO within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA).

Major Duties: The incumbent manages broad-based IT project assignments for program areas and activities within the Program Executive Director Front Office, Schedule and Risks Pillar. Performs a wide variety of analytical duties connected with the execution of critical applications integration and configuration activities. Reviews and interprets policies, program guidance and objectives relating to assigned responsibilities and engages operational management methods, systems and operations. Ensures the smooth operation of field activities, including field safety and work quality by interfacing with field workers, clients, and third-party material suppliers, field coordinator. Coordinates the IT activities contributing to achieve the strategic objectives of VA EHRM-IO within the context of increased use of technologies requiring a high level of knowledge related to cybersecurity, infrastructure, software and hardware and other interconnected technologies related to IT technology management.
