IT Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to take ownership of IT and Software projects from initiation to successful delivery. This role will work closely with clients, developers, QA, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to drive project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with business objectives.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys coordinating people, solving problems, and turning requirements into successful technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

• Lead IT/Software projects from project initiation through delivery and closure.

• Gather and manage system requirements in collaboration with clients and stakeholders.

• Develop project plans covering scope, timeline, milestones, resources, and budget.

• Monitor project progress, priorities, risks, issues, and dependencies to keep projects on track.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams including Development, QA, Infrastructure, and other relevant teams.

• Assign tasks, track progress, and follow up on project deliverables.

• Manage communication across clients, internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Conduct project meetings, communicate project status, and ensure alignment across all parties.

Quality & Delivery Management

• Monitor development quality and coordinate SIT/UAT activities.

• Track and facilitate issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage Change Requests and assess their impact on scope, timeline, resources, and budget.

• Coordinate deployment, release, and Go-Live activities to ensure smooth project delivery.

Project Reporting & Improvement

• Prepare project status updates, progress reports, and relevant project documentation.

• Identify project risks and issues and coordinate appropriate mitigation or resolution.

• Conduct project closure and document lessons learned for future projects.

Technology & Solution Management

• Coordinate projects involving Hardware, Network, Cloud, and Software solutions.

• Work with technical teams to understand technical dependencies and project requirements.

• Support effective communication between business requirements and technical implementation.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in Project Management, Software Development, Software Implementation, or a related field.

• Experience managing IT/Software projects from planning through implementation or delivery.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.

• Experience working on government projects or with public-sector clients is a plus.
