IT Project Manager

Salary: ₱120,000 – ₱130,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager with at least 9 years of relevant work experience in managing IT projects, particularly in core banking systems, software development, and enterprise technology implementations.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in end-to-end project delivery, software development lifecycle (SDLC), stakeholder management, and banking technology solutions. This role requires someone who can lead cross-functional teams, manage complex technical initiatives, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end IT projects, particularly core banking system implementations, enhancements, integrations, and software development initiatives.

• Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budget.

• Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, software developers, QA testers, and vendors to ensure successful project implementation.

• Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.

• Coordinate project resources, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans.

• Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, status reporting, and stakeholder presentations.

• Ensure project deliverables comply with banking standards, IT policies, security requirements, and regulatory guidelines.

• Manage project documentation, including project plans, business requirements, status reports, risk registers, and implementation plans.

• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and technology solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 9 years of overall professional experience in IT, with substantial experience in IT project management.

• Proven experience managing core banking projects, including system implementation, migration, enhancement, or integration.

• Strong understanding of software development and application delivery, including SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.

• Experience leading software development teams and managing technical projects involving application development, system integration, and database solutions.

• Solid understanding of banking systems, financial services operations, and banking technology platforms.

• Excellent project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams, third-party vendors, and senior management.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.

• Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are an advantage.

Project-based arrangement (6mos - 1yr contract with extensions/absorption).
