Position Summary
As the IT Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our corporate strategic and large transformational projects and ensures it meets committed cost, timelines, and quality standards. We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our team and lead the transformation of project management practices for Pike. This role is a great fit for someone who excels in managing complex technical projects, vendor relationships, and embraces Agile principles, including Scrum. You will report to the IT Director PMO. This job is on-site in Fort Mill, SC.
Essential Functions:
Implementation and Integration:
Lead the implementation of Oracle/Microsoft projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop specifications, and ensure the solution meets business needs
Coordinate with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of services
Project Planning and Management:
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and deliver projects within budget
Define project success criteria and communicate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle
Jira Administration & Collaboration:
Administer, configure, and optimize Jira Cloud to support project, workflow, permission, and automation needs across technology teams
Maintain system governance, including project lists, time capture (Tempo), user management, and adherence to PMO standards and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) workflows
Collaborate with development, network and security teams to set up their projects issues, implement Jira enhancements, and ensure consistent, high‑quality usage of Jira tools
Risk Management:
Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks
Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and are aligned with business requirements
Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project objectives and standards
Change Management:
Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of Oracle Field Services
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful system utilization
Vendor Management:
Engage with third-party vendors and suppliers to support program and project needs
Stakeholder Communication
Be the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring open and transparent communication
Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged
Minimum Requirements:
Regular attendance is required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of IT processes and tools as it pertains to project management, financial management and resource planning
5+ years of experience in IT program management, including leadership roles with a focus on agile delivery
Strong Jira acumen with a successful track record in time capture management
Ability to design and execute strategic IT support initiatives in alignment with business objectives
Relevant certifications (e.g., Jira, PMP) or technical certifications are advantageous
Other Skills:
Experience with Oracle cloud products including Field services, Fusion HCM, Fusion ERP and CX cloud
Experience with Microsoft products including Dyamics 360, Azure EDW and Power apps
5+ years of experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets
3+ years of IT experience developing and implementing systems within an organization
3+ years of experience managing systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high-level design for complex solutions
