IT Project Manager
9-Month Contract | Singapore
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver regional IT and digital initiatives within a multinational environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of projects end-to-end, from ideation and planning through execution and project closure, while working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, sponsors, vendors and regional/global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage IT projects from initiation and planning through execution, delivery and closure.
Own and manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across different functions, countries and time zones.
Deliver assigned projects in alignment with programme strategy and established PMO governance frameworks.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans, budgets, milestones and deliverable tracking.
Identify project risks and issues early and establish appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
Manage project escalations promptly, with clear recommendations and proposed actions.
Organise and chair project meetings, workshops and stakeholder discussions.
Coordinate dependencies between related regional projects and initiatives.
Work closely with sponsors, steering committees, business stakeholders and IT leadership to keep projects aligned with business objectives.
Manage external, offshore and distributed project teams where required.
Ensure projects meet organisational quality standards and established delivery processes.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
Proven experience delivering IT and/or digital implementation projects.
Experience managing projects or programmes involving multiple business and technical stakeholders.
Experience working in a regional or global environment, including global teams and offshore locations.
Experience working with business stakeholders and influencing stakeholders within a matrix organisation.
Experience managing external teams, vendors or project resources across different locations and time zones.
Exposure to Agile methodologies.
Strong project governance, risk management, problem-solving and escalation management capabilities.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
Able to manage multiple activities concurrently and drive them through to completion.
Comfortable conducting and facilitating internal and external workshops.
Strong written and spoken English.
Experience working within a multinational and multicultural environment.
Education & Certifications
Degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
Project or programme management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, PgMP or PfMP.
Other Requirements
Comfortable with occasional regional travel of up to approximately 20%.
Additional language capabilities will be an advantage.
