IT Project Manager / Software Developer

Salary: £25,000 - 50,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an IT Project Management, Systems Analyst or Software Development role.
  • Experience delivering projects within Financial Services, Banking or another regulated environment.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience implementing and supporting business applications and packaged software solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a small, highly collaborative IT team.
  • Experience with some of the following technologies would be highly beneficial: OutSystems, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server / SSIS, Power BI or Tableau, database design and data warehousing, Excel VBA, IBM RPG / CL, Windows Server, IIS, Git.
  • Knowledge of security-by-design principles and cyber security best practices would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects from initial concept through to delivery and support.
  • Gather and analyse business requirements to design effective technical solutions.
  • Evaluate, select and implement new software platforms and business applications.
  • Develop and customise systems where required to meet business needs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support cyber security, audit and regulatory initiatives across the IT function.
  • Create technical documentation, procedures and training materials.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to both IT and business users.

We are a well-established financial services organisation in London offering a permanent IT Project Manager / Software Developer position. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 4 days per week on-site, based in central London, and gives you the opportunity to work closely with our Head of IT in a small, highly collaborative team.
