IT Project Manager / Software Developer
Salary: £25,000 - 50,000 per year
Requirements:- Previous experience in an IT Project Management, Systems Analyst or Software Development role.
- Experience delivering projects within Financial Services, Banking or another regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience implementing and supporting business applications and packaged software solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently within a small, highly collaborative IT team.
- Experience with some of the following technologies would be highly beneficial: OutSystems, PHP, Microsoft SQL Server / SSIS, Power BI or Tableau, database design and data warehousing, Excel VBA, IBM RPG / CL, Windows Server, IIS, Git.
- Knowledge of security-by-design principles and cyber security best practices would be advantageous.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects from initial concept through to delivery and support.
- Gather and analyse business requirements to design effective technical solutions.
- Evaluate, select and implement new software platforms and business applications.
- Develop and customise systems where required to meet business needs.
- Work with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support cyber security, audit and regulatory initiatives across the IT function.
- Create technical documentation, procedures and training materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to both IT and business users.

We are a well-established financial services organisation in London offering a permanent IT Project Manager / Software Developer position. This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 4 days per week on-site, based in central London, and gives you the opportunity to work closely with our Head of IT in a small, highly collaborative team.
