IT Project Manager

Summary

An IT Project Manager oversees SaaS procurement projects, ensuring they meet governance, stakeholder expectations, and compliance standards. Daily tasks include planning, resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, budget management, and quality assurance for technology solutions in the financial sector.

As an IT Project Manager, you will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of technology projects, ensuring alignment with governance frameworks, stakeholder expectations, and compliance standards. You will lead project planning, execution, and reporting while coordinating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver SaaS procurement solutions on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

Project Planning & Execution

  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies.
  • Define project scope, allocate resources, set deadlines, and lay out communication strategies.
  • Create project blueprints including testing strategies and execution plans.
  • Track key milestones and adjust plans/resources to meet customer needs.

Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Assemble and lead project teams, directing and monitoring daily work efforts.
  • Identify resource needs, perform quality reviews, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Coordinate communication with stakeholders on scope, budget, schedule, and risks.

Budget & Compliance Management

  • Create and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, risk management, and industry standards.
  • Support audit readiness and documentation requirements.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee consistent testing, evaluation, and troubleshooting of products at all stages.
  • Define and implement testing strategies to ensure quality delivery.

We'd Love to Hear From You If...

Experience

  • You have at least 10 years of IT work experience, with 7+ years in project management.
  • You have experience implementing SaaS Procurement Software.
  • You have worked with multiple stakeholders across business, infrastructure, and risk management teams.
  • Experience in the financial and banking industry is preferred.

Technical Expertise

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent).
  • You are knowledgeable in project management methodologies, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or CISM are highly desirable.
