The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to implement and maintain IT solutions that support airport operations.
Job Description
As an IT Project / Operations Executive (Airport Systems), you will support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of Airport IT systems and managed services. You will contribute to project delivery, system operations, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business and user requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with technical teams and vendors to support the design and implementation of IT solutions.
- Assist in project planning, execution, testing, deployment, and change management activities.
- Monitor and support the daily operations and maintenance of Airport IT systems to ensure service availability and performance.
- Coordinate incident management, problem resolution, and service requests with relevant teams and vendors.
- Support system upgrades, renewals, compliance reviews, and operational readiness activities.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure IT systems and services comply with organizational policies and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, systems administration, project coordination, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of networking, servers, operating systems, and cybersecurity concepts.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and stakeholders is advantageous.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and project management methodologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Good verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and customer service orientation.
