IT Projects Manager

Salary: £38,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience negotiating service provision
• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail
• Technical experience across business support functions such as telephony, networks, servers and workstations
• Experience managing IT system change projects and system migrations
• Excellent knowledge of SaaS provisions and risks
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• High integrity, discretion and professionalism
• Proactive, solution-focused approach

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration and coordination of our IT systems and services
• Update and improve systems, and recommend changes
• Liaise with external IT providers to maintain reliable and secure infrastructure
• Ensure our staff have appropriate system access and receive the support they need
• Promote effective and secure use of digital tools across our organisation
• Review our CRM system and lead a project to migrate to a different platform
• Review our office telephone systems and, if appropriate, lead a project to migrate to a different platform
• Review how our external staff interact with data in SharePoint and our database
• Lead a project to decommission office server hardware and migrate services to third-party hosted solutions
• Lead a project to develop a new website for our organisation
• Work with colleagues across the office to document current office functions in a collection of standard operating procedures
• Work with all staff to ensure a successful rollout of devices
• Serve as the first point of contact for staff queries about IT matters
• Champion our values internally and externally

We are recruiting an IT Projects Manager in Rugby for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term role paying £38,000–£40,000 per annum, with hybrid working. Reporting to our Director, the role combines day-to-day IT functions with project management of changes to our technical facilities. It is an important position in our organisation and calls for someone who can work with trust, discretion and autonomy while maintaining strong alignment.
