IT QA Engineer Financial

Salary: Rp 6.500.000 – Rp 8.000.000 per month

Job Description

• Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.

• Analyze requirements and create test cases covering normal, variant, and negative tests.

• Execute manual and automated testing for frontend and backend features.

• Conduct performance testing on applications.

• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Search and read transaction logs on the AS/400 platform to validate test results.

• Document testing activities using Atlassian ADLM tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket) in line with the client's SDLC standards.

• Report, track, and verify defects until resolved.

• Collaborate with Developers, Technical Writers, and Product Owners throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, both manual and automated.

• Ability to prepare test plan and test execution documents.

• Experience in performance testing.

• Ability to create and execute normal, variant, and negative test scenarios.

• Understanding of Atlassian ADLM tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Bitbucket) or other CI/CD tools.

• Experience searching and reading transaction logs on the AS/400 platform.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

• Willing to work onsite in Jakarta and undergo background checking.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing banking, financial services, or loyalty/reward systems.

• Experience testing microservices and REST APIs (e.g., Postman).

• Familiarity with canary testing and CI/CD-integrated automated testing.

• Relevant certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
