About the Role
We're looking for a IT Quality Assurance to join our QA team, testing web platforms and digital products across a range of client projects. You'll work closely with other QAs, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure features are thoroughly tested, defects are clearly documented, and releases meet quality standards before going live. This is a hands-on role suited to someone building a strong foundation in structured, systematic testing practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases across web applications, including functional, regression, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles
- Write clear, structured test cases and test plans based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual results, and supporting evidence (screenshots, recordings, logs)
- Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to validate consistent functionality and presentation
- Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements, verify fixes, and retest resolved issues
- Support the creation of QA documentation, including test case spreadsheets, UAT workbooks, and sign-off summaries
- Participate in sprint ceremonies (standups, planning, retros) and communicate testing progress and blockers
- Help maintain and improve existing test case libraries and QA processes
- Flag risks, edge cases, and usability concerns beyond the literal scope of a ticket
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a manual QA / software testing role (junior-to-mid level)
- Solid understanding of QA fundamentals: test case design, defect lifecycle, regression vs. exploratory testing
- Comfortable testing web applications across browsers and devices
- Experience using test management or bug tracking tools (e.g., ClickUp, Trello, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and clear, concise written communication
- Able to work independently on assigned test cycles while knowing when to escalate or ask questions
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for structured test documentation
- A genuine curiosity about how things break — and why that matters to the end user
Nice to Have
- Exposure to CMS-driven websites (e.g., Sanity, WordPress) or component/slice-based page builders
- Familiarity with API testing basics (e.g., Postman)
- Experience working in an agency environment across multiple concurrent client projects
- Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright), or an interest in growing into automation
Work Set-Up:
- On-site- Clark, Pampanga
- Monday to Friday, Dayshift
- Full-time
