IT Scrum Master

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Scrum Master to facilitate Agile practices, support cross-functional teams, and ensure effective delivery of technology projects. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, analytical, stakeholder-management, and Agile facilitation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
  
• Support teams in defining, refining, prioritizing, and managing User Stories and Product Backlogs.
  
• Identify and remove impediments that may impact sprint or project delivery.
  
• Promote Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement across teams.
  
• Track sprint progress, team metrics, dependencies, and delivery risks.
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand software development processes and project lifecycles.
  
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and business stakeholders.
  
• Use Jira or similar Agile project-management tools to manage backlogs, sprints, and reporting.
  
• Support a multicultural and bilingual working environment.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as an IT Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Agile Facilitator, or similar Agile role.
  
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban.
  
• Hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint activities.
  
• Experience working with User Stories, Product Backlog, Backlog Refinement, and Acceptance Criteria.
  
• Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and technology environments.
  
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
  
• Experience with Jira or similar Agile tools.
  
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and engineering teams.
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• PSM, CSM, or similar Agile certification is preferred.
  
• Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore Urban.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and bilingual environment.
