As an IT Section Head, Infrastructure (Semiconductor), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead and oversee the Operations Service Support (OSS) team and all local and global IT infrastructure operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, departments, and global site managers to achieve organizational objectives.
• Mentor, supervise, and develop team members by identifying training and competency development needs.

• Support the Head of Department in planning, managing, and monitoring IT infrastructure budgets.

• Ensure the reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of all IT infrastructure systems under assigned responsibility.

• Align local IT infrastructure priorities with business requirements while supporting global IT strategies and objectives.

• Partner with Global Service Managers to implement and execute global IT infrastructure initiatives at the local site.

• Actively participate in the global IT organization to facilitate effective communication and collaboration across regions.

• Plan and coordinate IT infrastructure deployments, system lifecycle management, technical support, and maintenance activities.

• Oversee system design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and user training to ensure quality standards are met.

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand operational requirements, prioritize projects, and allocate resources within approved budgets.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve IT operational procedures and best practices to enhance team efficiency and service delivery.

Requirements:

• Master of Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science
• t least 6 years of experience in IT Infrastructure
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure fundamentals, including operating systems and networking
• Hands-on experience with Linux (SuSE) and Windows environments
• Familiarity with WAN/LAN technologies and network troubleshooting
• Foundational knowledge across Backup, Storage, Database, and Networking technologies
• Experience in project management, vendor management and e-commerce projects
• Past experience in 24 x 7 manufacturing environment will be preferred
