IT Security Admin - Patch, Endpoint & Security Operations

Key Responsibilities
Patch & Endpoint Management
- Administer and maintain the Ivanti Patch Management System, ensuring timely patch deployment and compliance across all endpoints.
- Manage Microsoft Intune including device enrollment, policy configuration, application deployment, patches, upgrades, and endpoint compliance.
Threat Protection & Security Monitoring
- Oversee Microsoft Security Modules including Microsoft Defender; implement threat protection policies, monitor alerts, and coordinate incident response activities.
- Stay current with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and enforce security policies and compliance standards across the organization.
Vulnerability Management
- Oversee the vulnerability management lifecycle: maintain scan inventories, identify vulnerabilities across the environment, prioritize findings, and drive remediation efforts in coordination with relevant teams.
Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Monitor DLP alerts and incidents, and report findings to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Assist in configuring and testing DLP policies, including preview and pilot deployments.
- Work with IT and business teams to identify sensitive data classifications and ensure appropriate protection controls are in place.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of DLP policies, incidents, and remediation actions.
- Support end-user awareness initiatives on the proper handling of sensitive data.
Firewall Administration
- Manage organizational firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet, or equivalent), maintaining secure access rules, monitoring traffic patterns, and ensuring firewall configurations remain updated and compliant with security policies.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain thorough documentation of system configurations, security procedures, and incident response actions.
- Provide end-user support and training related to security and compliance policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in patch management, endpoint security, and device management.
- Hands-on experience with Ivanti Patch Management, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and DLP tools.
- Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise firewalls (Cisco, FortiGate, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements.
