• Lead and manage day-to-day Security Operations and cyber defense activities.
• Monitor, identify, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and threats.
• Oversee SIEM, EDR, and security monitoring platforms to ensure effective threat detection.
• Conduct threat hunting activities and recommend proactive security measures.
• Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation programs across the technology environment.
• Coordinate incident response activities, forensic investigations, and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and risk teams to strengthen security controls.
• Develop and enhance cybersecurity policies, procedures, and operational playbooks.
• Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to cybersecurity and information security.
• Lead security awareness initiatives and drive a strong security culture across the organization.
• Manage external security vendors and cybersecurity projects.
• Provide regular security reporting and risk updates to senior management.

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Security Operations, or Incident Response.
• Previous experience within Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or other regulated industries is highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
  • Security Operations Center (SOC)
  • SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar)
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
  • Threat Hunting
  • Incident Response
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Security Monitoring
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as:
  • ISO 27001
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • CIS Controls
  • SWIFT CSP (preferred)
• Experience leading cybersecurity projects and managing stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and people management skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CGEIT, or equivalent are advantageous.
