IT Security Content Developer
Summary
Develops PECB's core product — IT security training courses — by researching topics (ISO standards, cybersecurity, privacy, cloud security, ethical hacking, etc.) and writing accurate, well-structured educational and marketing content in English. On-site role in Prishtina with a four-day work week.
What
are we looking for?
A Content
Developer for IT Security is responsible for developing PECB’s main product
that is training courses. During the development process, a Content Developer
should be able to familiarize themselves with the topic and is expected to
conduct the necessary research and collect reliable and relevant pieces of
information, and synthesize them into new and original content that is easily
comprehensible, accurate, and well written in English.
The IT Security
for Content Developer is responsible for researching, developing, and writing
original training course content on IT security topics, ensuring materials are
accurate, well-structured, and clearly written in English.
Main
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, improve, and
update educational content (training courses, written exercises, quizzes,
correction keys, case studies, exams, training course samples)
- Develop, improve, and update
marketing content (articles, whitepapers, brochures, course descriptions)
related to educational content
- Develop training course content on
various subjects associated with information technology based on ISO
standards or other best practices, such as information security,
cybersecurity, privacy management, cloud security, information security
risk management, ethical hacking, digital transformation, computer
forensics, etc.
- Seek for ideas and opportunities to
improve the educational content
- Communicate and work closely with
the supervisor, team members, and members of other departments,
especially when it comes to improving the educational content
- Work in projects during various
stages of development
- Stay up to date with the newest
trends in the industry and develop an understanding of the target audience
and the market
- Perform other related duties as
assigned by the management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or attending
their last year of studies) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT
Security, Computer Sciences, IT, Programming, Telecommunications,
Networking, or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
- Advanced English reading
comprehension and writing skills. Academic writing skills are an advantage
- Excellent research skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
(Word, PowerPoint) is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to learn new topics/concepts
and grow as well as to challenge and contribute to ideas
- Must work well under pressure,
think outside the box, and be able to follow up in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Be open to receiving feedback and
constructive criticism
