IT Security Engineer (CyberArk)

• We are looking for a skilled and motivated Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and supporting cybersecurity technologies across enterprise and government environments.

• The role will have a strong focus on Privileged Access Management (PAM), particularly CyberArk, while also covering security monitoring, database activity monitoring, endpoint security, and vulnerability assessment technologies.

• Implement, configure, administer, and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, with a strong focus on CyberArk.

• Manage CyberArk components, including privileged accounts, safes, policies, onboarding, password management, and access controls.

• Support the integration of CyberArk with enterprise applications, infrastructure, directories, and authentication systems.

• Monitor and troubleshoot PAM-related issues, ensuring availability, security, and compliance.

• Perform administration and operational support for cybersecurity technologies, including:

  • PAM: CyberArk

  • Database Activity Monitoring (DAM): IBM Guardium, Imperva SecureSphere

  • SIEM: Splunk, IBM QRadar

  • Endpoint Security: Trend Micro, Carbon Black

  • Vulnerability Assessment (VA): Vulnerability scanning and assessment tools
    

• Perform security monitoring, incident investigation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.

• Support vulnerability assessment activities, remediation tracking, and security hardening.

• Participate in cybersecurity projects, technology implementation, upgrades, and migrations.

• Ensure security solutions are configured and operated in accordance with organizational security standards and Singapore Government IM8 policies.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, reports, and system configurations.

• Work closely with infrastructure, application, network, and security teams to resolve technical and security issues.

• Provide operational support and participate in incident response and problem management activities.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve security controls, processes, and operational efficiency.

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience in implementing and managing complex IT infrastructure systems and services, preferably within commercial and/or Singapore Government agency environments.

• Strong hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM is highly preferred.

• Working knowledge and experience with cybersecurity technologies and tools, including:

  • Privileged Access Management (PAM): CyberArk

  • Database Activity Monitoring (DAM): IBM Guardium, Imperva SecureSphere

  • SIEM: Splunk, IBM QRadar

  • Endpoint Security: Trend Micro, Carbon Black

  • Vulnerability Assessment (VA) scanners

• Familiarity with Singapore Government IM8 policies and security requirements.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, enterprise infrastructure, access management, security monitoring, and vulnerability management.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will have an added advantage:

• CISSP

• CCSP

• CISM

• CCSK

• CyberArk certifications

• Other relevant cybersecurity certifications
