About the role

As an IT Security Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a seamless technology experience across the organization. Acting as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues, you'll provide advanced support while managing core IT operations, including user lifecycle, SaaS administration, identity and device management, and process automation. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving operational efficiency, and delivering a reliable, scalable internal IT environment. You'll also contribute to documentation, standardization, and continuous improvements that help the entire organization work more effectively.

On a typical day, you will

  • Manage access and the employee lifecycle: administer credentials, permissions, and system access, and coordinate the full onboarding and offboarding process using SaaS tools, Identity Providers, and MDM solutions.
  • Administer SaaS applications and services: oversee the configuration, maintenance, and support of company SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Jira, Notion, Slack, Jumpcloud), ensuring proper functionality and integration.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation: develop and update FAQs, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles to standardize support and empower users.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting: apply strong diagnostic skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions for complex incidents.
  • Develop automation scripts: use scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to integrate systems, automate routine tasks, and optimize IT processes.
  • Configure and maintain access security controls (Conditional Access, MFA, SSO federation, and RBAC).
  • Support internal audits, compliance initiatives, LGPD alignment, and ISO/IEC 27001 best practices.

  • Identity Providers (IdP)
  • Collaborative Tools (Google Workspace)
  • IAM & MDM
  • Automation scripting
  • Protocols and concepts: SSO, SAML, MFA, RBAC, LDAP

Skills and knowledge:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) and least privilege concepts
  • Understanding of LGPD, compliance, and information security best practices (ISO/IEC 27001)
  • Analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving incidents
  • Clear communication, organization, and autonomy in handling multiple demands
  • Intermediate/advanced English (reading technical documentation)
