The IT/Information Security Officer will implement, monitor, and validate security controls across endpoints, servers, and networks to ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves managing security solutions like Splunk, EDR, and DLP while coordinating audits and vulnerability remediation.
Job Title: IT / Information Security Officer
Location: UAE
Working Model: 100% Onsite – 5 days/week
Initial Contract: 3–4 months, with potential for extension
Engagement: Full-time
Job Purpose
Support the implementation, administration, validation, and monitoring of IT and Information Security controls to ensure regulatory compliance, secure IT operations, and timely closure of cybersecurity risks.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain endpoint, server, network, and database security controls.
Coordinate deployment and validation of security solutions at Clients /Servers such as FireEye, EDR, DLP, BitLocker, Umbrella, VPN, Splunk and database monitoring.
Execute security hardening activities based on CIS benchmarks and security baselines.
Monitor and track remediation of vulnerabilities, audit findings, and security assessment observations.
Support regulatory compliance initiatives, security audits, and data privacy requirements.
Coordinate third-party security assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
Manage security-related change requests and ensure compliance with governance requirements.
Maintain security documentation, reports, evidence, and management dashboards.
Liaise with Head Office IT, Information Security, vendors, and business teams on security initiatives.
Escalate security risks, delays, and critical issues to management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Information Security, or Cybersecurity.
Preferred Skills
Endpoint Security, DLP, EDR, BitLocker, VPN, Active Directory, GPO.
Network and Server Security Hardening.
Vulnerability Management and Security Assessments.
Regulatory Compliance and Audit Coordination.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
