Contract engagement (Nov 9 - Dec 18, 2026) in Copenhagen for an IT Security Senior Consultant supporting a RACF access control, onboarding and clean-up project: guiding onboarding teams, reviewing IAM processes, tracking risks, and driving automation and regulatory-compliance improvements in the mainframe access environment.
emagine is seeking a IT Security Senior Consultant who will support the RACF Access Control, Onboarding & Clean-up track by providing Information Security and Access Management subject matter expertise. The role will work closely with the RACF Integration Team, IAM specialists, business stakeholders, and platform teams to ensure secure and compliant onboarding, access remediation, and clean-up activities.
The consultant will contribute to the design and implementation of sustainable access control practices, identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, and support the reduction of security and compliance risks across the RACF environment.
Main Responsibilities
Guide and instruct the project onboarding teams in onboarding and clean-up activities.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with IAM policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review and improve access management processes to enhance security, efficiency, and control effectiveness.
Identify, recommend, and support implementation of automation opportunities within onboarding and access remediation activities.
Maintain action and decision logs and project documentation.
Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and actions, escalating where appropriate.
Support project governance processes and reporting requirements.
Key Requirements
Knowledge of Information Security and Access Management principles.
Experience with RACF or similar access management systems.
Ability to engage with stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to access control.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with automation tools and practices in IAM.
Experience in project management methodologies.
Certifications related to Information Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
