IT Security Specialist (Microsoft Azure & 365 Focus)

What You'll Do

  • Implement, maintain, and optimize security controls and solutions across our Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, including identity, data, network, and endpoint protection.

  • Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats using Microsoft security tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender suite (XDR, for Cloud, for O365, for Endpoint).

  • Contribute to the design and evolution of our cybersecurity strategy and architecture, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust principles and industry best practices.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, manage remediation efforts, and assist in ensuring compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with IT operations and other teams to integrate security throughout the IT lifecycle, providing expertise and driving continuous security posture improvements.



Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Must be a US-based candidate.

  • Demonstrable expertise in Microsoft Azure security services and Microsoft 365 security features, coupled with 3-5 years of experience in IT security, specifically focusing on cloud security.

  • Required Certification/s:

    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)

    • Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)

    • Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100)

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, MITRE ATT&CK), and Zero Trust methodologies, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in security operations center (SOC) functions, including incident response, threat detection, and analysis, along with the ability to communicate effectively in English.

  • Experience with U.S.-based clients and a familiarity with IT service management processes and tooling are highly valued.
