IT Server Engineer

Salary: ₱35,000 – ₱45,000 per month

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in server administration or IT infrastructure.

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.

• Experience with VMware or other virtualization platforms.

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, backup, and storage systems.

• Basic knowledge of networking and server security.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a technical support team.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules and on-call support, when required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers and related infrastructure.

2. Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and system health.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve server, OS, storage, and application-related issues.

4. Perform patching, upgrades, maintenance, and security updates.

5. Manage virtualization platforms, storage, and backup systems.

6. Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other core IT services.

7. Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

8. Coordinate with Network, Security, Application, Cloud, and vendor teams.

9. Maintain server documentation, configurations, and inventory.

10. Participate in infrastructure projects, incident resolution, and on-call support.
