IT Service and Operation Manager
Description
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on IT Service and Operation Leader. In this role, you will lead the strategic transition of our IT operations, shifting the primary focus toward robust AI infrastructure management and enterprise-wide data security across the entire group, including all business units and subsidiaries (Educational Publishing House, Pan Lloyds Publishers, PEHK, etc.). You will be responsible for overseeing Azure-based AI infrastructure, token cost economics, core data pipelines, group-wide data protection and compliance, and championing company-wide office automation improvements to streamline administrative workflows throughout our digital and AI transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily IT operations, service delivery, and user support across the organization
Manage IT incidents, service requests, vendors, and operational escalations
Ensure stable operation of infrastructure, systems, workplace technology, and business applications
Support IT asset management, procurement coordination, license tracking, inventory control, lifecycle planning, and related administrative processes
Lead IT service operations, office automation (OA), and online platform stability, ensuring seamless uptime for business units
Oversee cloud and hybrid infrastructure (Azure), managing token usage allocation, local LLM hosting environments, API gateways, and LLM token cost optimization.
Direct the architecture, integration, and security of enterprise data pipelines, ensuring robust file versioning control and protection of core publishing digital assets.
Implement and monitor robust data security protocols, endpoint protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Manage and upskill the IT staff, guiding them into modern cloud operations, endpoint security, and AI platform support roles.
Promote teamwork, accountability, service discipline, innovation mindset, and a customer-focused approach within the IT function
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
10 years or above of relevant IT experience, including solid exposure to IT operations, service delivery, infrastructure support, end-user computing, vendor management, and project coordination, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
Proven hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management (Microsoft Azure).
Deep understanding of token cost control, LLM gateway routing, and AI infrastructure requirements.
Strong background in data pipeline architecture, database management, and system integration.
Certification in enterprise cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Security credentials) is preferred.
Strong vendor management, operational governance, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Fluent in Cantonese and English.
