IT Service Desk Engineer
Salary: £25,000 - 25,000 per year
Requirements:- At least one year of experience in an IT support, helpdesk or service desk role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Confidence to take ownership of technical issues
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage several priorities effectively
- A positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle insured for business use
- Previous experience within a managed service provider is beneficial but not essential
- Provide technical support by telephone, email and remote support tools
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and networking issues
- Manage user accounts, access, permissions and password requests
- Investigate faults across desktops, laptops, servers and cloud services
- Take ownership of tickets from initial contact through to resolution
- Keep clients informed with clear and professional updates
- Escalate complex issues with accurate information
- Support backup, security and connectivity troubleshooting
- Maintain detailed ticket notes and technical documentation
