IT Service Owner Collaboration M365 (f/m)
Summary
Own and manage the global Microsoft 365 collaboration suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Copilot) including service delivery, budgeting, security, and AI governance across regions.
What you’ll do:
Global Service Delivery (Collaboration): Own the global service portfolio for digital collaboration and personal productivity (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, document management with Purview, Teams Phone) and ensure delivery within agreed scope, budget, and SLAs
Operational Service Management: Ensure stable and secure operation of collaboration, voice and document management services, coordinating monitoring, maintenance, support and operations teams across regions
Innovation, Tool Introduction & Lifecycle Management: Identify, evaluate and roll out new functionalities (incl. AI-supported capabilities such as Copilot) based on clear selection criteria (functionality, cost, usability) and drive continuous improvement and lifecycle management of the portfolio
Budget & Resource Planning: Plan and control the global service budget, manage internal/external resources and licensing topics, and identify optimization and saving potentials
AI Governance, KPI Reporting & Compliance: Establish governance models for AI-supported collaboration (e.g., Copilot, agents/coworking), define roles, controls and approvals, and ensure KPI reporting, risk management and compliance with Security/Data Protection requirements
What we’re looking for:
Experience in Collaboration Services (Microsoft 365): Several years of relevant experience in service ownership/management for collaboration & productivity platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, M365)
Project / Rollout and Budget Management: Proven experience in leading global IT initiatives (planning, coordination, reporting) as well as budget and resource planning for services
IT Service Management Know-how (e.g., ITIL): Strong understanding of IT service processes and lifecycle management to ensure stable, secure operations and SLA-oriented delivery
Governance, Security & Compliance Mindset: Experience defining and operationalizing governance for collaboration and AI usage (e.g., Copilot, agents), incl. policies, controls, risk assessment and compliance with Security/Data Protection
Stakeholder Leadership & Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills, able to align international stakeholders and translate complex topics into actionable service decisions (English fluent; German is a plus)
Optional
Advanced Certifications (ITSM / Project / M365): Advanced certifications such as ITIL Expert, PMP/PRINCE2, or Microsoft 365 security & compliance (e.g., Purview) are an advantage
Copilot / AI Features & Agent Governance: Hands-on experience introducing AI-supported productivity features (e.g., Copilot) and setting up governance for agents/coworking scenarios (ownership, data boundaries, approvals, monitoring)
Teams Phone / Cloud Telephony Know-how: Familiarity with modern cloud telephony and voice concepts (e.g., Teams Phone, SIP, SBC) and the integration into global workplace services
Adoption/Change & Vendor/Solution Management: Experience driving adoption (training/communication) and evaluating vendors/solutions, including planning and executing migrations or transitions when beneficial for business value, cost or usability
