Join a growing Tasmanian solar & electrical company and become the first point of contact for customers needing technical support.
We’re looking for a technically minded, problem-solving person who is confident with computers, enjoys troubleshooting and has great communication skills.
You’ll support customers with solar, battery and electrical system issues, gather information, troubleshoot where possible and coordinate with our electricians and technical team to get problems resolved.
The role
Provide phone and email technical support to customers
Troubleshoot solar, battery and electrical system issues
Gather fault information, photos and system details
Monitor and interpret system information where required
Determine the appropriate next step or service response
Coordinate technicians and service appointments
Manage service jobs from enquiry through to resolution
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding technical and warranty issues
Keep customers updated throughout the process
Maintain accurate job and customer records
About you
Strong IT and computer skills
Excellent phone manner and communication skills
Enjoy troubleshooting and problem-solving
Technically curious and quick to learn
Organised and able to manage multiple jobs
Confident speaking with customers and tradespeople
Experience in IT support, technical support, solar, electrical, trades or service coordination is highly regarded
You don't need to be an electrician. We’re looking for someone who can learn technical systems, ask the right questions and confidently work through problems.
